Hunt for Jade Dragon, by Richard Paul Evans

Hunt for Jade Dragon by Richard Paul Evans is the fourth book in the Michael Vey series. If you have not read the first three books in the series, I recommend you do because it gives you a better understanding of this book.

In this book, the Elgen which is an organization that produces a portion of the worlds electricity, have captured a nine year old girl nicknamed Jade Dragon because she knows a formula than can make the MEI machines work again. This machine has the ability to give children electric abilities. Michael and the rest of the Electroclan take a trip to Taiwan try to stop the Elgen from getting the formula and returning the child to her family.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a thrilling, action packed, and suspenseful book. This book was a page turner for me as I could not stop reading! It also does a great job of getting you into the story unlike some other books that don't really hold the readers' attention. The book is very well written and creates a strong visual in the readers' mind. This book is preferably suited to kids that are 12 and older as the content in part is directed to a teen audience. All fans of Michael Vey and thrillers should stop reading this and go get the book now!
