I just read Reboot by Amy Tinera. This book was very interesting. The author created a dystopia where a virus has spread over the years. If you get this virus, even if you recover, when you die you will wake up as a "reboot." A reboot is kind of like a robot. The longer you are dead for, the less human you are, meaning you can heal faster, are stronger, and have less emotion.
Wren was dead for 178 minutes, making her the most valuable reboot because she was dead for longer than any of the other reboots. The reboots work for the government, and Wren's job is to train new reboots. One of her trainees was only dead for 22 minutes, making him the most human. The government wants to eliminate him because he has too much emotion, asks too many questions, and is not tough enough. Wren has never failed when training a reboot, so she is determined to keep him alive.
I really liked this book. It a lot of adventure and it keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. There is more than one conflict, so when one is solved, there's always more to keep you wondering. The author also tends to surprise you every once in awhile, because the characters do things you don't expect them to. Another reason I liked this book is because it makes you think.
I would recommend it to people who liked Divergent, because those two books have similar concepts and plots.
