Love is the Higher Law by, David Levithan

The book Love is the Higher Law is about September 11, 2001, the morning of the terrorist attacks on the twin towers. This high school girl, Claire was in school when the plains hit and her little brother was across the street at his school. They are looking for their mother and cannot find her at first. They eventually find her and get home safely. It talks about Peter and also Jasper where and what they were doing during the attack and how they react to it. This is a very good read and is highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this book. Each chapter is divided into each person’s thoughts and feelings. I liked the way it was set up that way you get multiple points of views and it is very interesting. I liked the way the author really uses great describing words throughout the whole book. David Levithan, the author of Love is the Higher Law, did a great job at keeping the reader interested and to keep them to keep reading. I really enjoyed this emotional, exciting, well-written book. I would recommend this book to many other people. I would recommend it because you can learn a whole lot more about the September 11th terrorist attack. I have learned a whole lot from it and I am so glad I read it. This is an excellent book and I recommend it to a good reader.
